Welcome to Foodies Never Die! 

Here, it is our firm belief that Foodies live forever.  Just because we may one day give up our bodies, doesn't mean our little Foodie souls will perish.  I myself intend to be reborn as an entire field of Arborio rice.  And we're not even sure if rice grows in fields.  Agriculture isn't really our wheelhouse.

Here at FND we aim to grow in our quest for immortality.  While we do share our experiences, our main intention here is to inspire.  By all means, if you see something you like, then try it.  But then tweak it.  Never stop experimenting!  Be fearless in the kitchen!

Anybody can be a Foodie.  Contrary to popular myth, we are not hipsters, we don't all run blogs (though some of us do), and you can start being a Foodie whenever you bloody well please.  No initiation or experience is necessary.

None of us here at FND are professional chefs or cooks. A quick perusal through the site should make that painfully obvious. Most of what we do ain't even pretty. We are amateurs practicing an art that's generally over our heads. We are the product of books (because we're old school), the kindness of advanced practitioners, online recipes, Youtube tutorials, and the mad science that goes on in our Food Lab.
