Food Porn #1
So every once in a while I find I have these leftover photos that never quite made the blog in their own right. Most of them were just pretty and tasty but couldn’t quite fill a whole blog. So here is our first ever Food Porn posting!
To start, we have a photo of my recent waffle party we had for a friend’s birthday. This was mine, complete with walnuts, bananas, blueberries, raspberries, and whipped cream:

And here is the spread from my recent charcuterie and cupcake night (cupcakes sadly and thoughtlessly not pictured). We had parma ham, salami, chorizo, chicken, meatballs, smoked salmon, grapes, brie, blueberry stilton, manchego, and cheddar. And yes, that’s on an ottoman as I do not have a table in my tiny tiny tiny livingroom:
This is probably the best steamed mussels I’ve had in years. It’s from a place called Hyde here in the West End of Glasgow, and once they put it back on their menu, I’ll be having it three times a week. The mussels were done in a cream and jalapeño sauce with bits of bacon. I seriously ordered more bread to mop this stuff up:
And here’s the cheesecake that came at the end of the meal at Hyde. Fancy. I have no idea what those round little fruits are:
